As I'm writing this post, there was literally a hole in my heart. That may never be filled again somehow. It all began with the Before The Storm, until the Episode 3 was released today.
In my point of view, the Episode 3 "True Ending" has the most unique answer to everything I ever known in this world. As Chloe choose to tell Rachel the truth of his father's doing towards Sera (her birth mother), Rachel was later choose to live freely with Chloe, which in my view was a quite a good ending, until then we realized that it was this ending that led Rachel to her disappearance 3 years later when there was a scene shows at the Dark Room where 17 missed call from Chloe on Rachel's phone (You know why this scene is so FUCKED UP? Because we already knew what happened to Rachel yet we can't do anything for her). It just literally break my heart to not be able to save her, after all this time.
This was truly opened my eyes, about what the future consequence may hold based on our own selfish decision. The "Bitter Truth" that was given to Rachel was indeed led to her death, as before that Sera had warned Chloe to NOT to tell to Rachel about what her father's wrongdoing, as this will led to Rachel lost her trust towards her father.
It was literally the saddest ending, but I can't help it. To realized that in order to save Rachel, Chloe need to hide the truth. If I was at Chloe's shoes (knowing that the truth would end up losing her), I would choose to hid it, as long as it was for her own good.
But then, it turns out that the "Lie Ending" didn't went well too. I thought that it could save Rachel's life, but no. There is no way she could escape death. So in my opinion, whether it is lie or not;
IT DOES NOT MATTER ANYMORE
To be honest, both of the ending gave a big lessons for me about how we live our life. Enjoy it to the fullest. And to Rachel Amber, I wish I could see you together with Chloe again, that would be a dream come true.
